Defensive Boxing
The best offense is a good defense. Learn to slip, roll, and counter-punch. Pure shadow boxing - no equipment needed.
Light shadow boxing with emphasis on head movement. Slip left, slip right, roll under. Get your body moving.
Practice slipping: imagine a jab coming, slip your head to the outside. Alternate sides. Slip left, reset, slip right, reset.
Practice the roll (bob and weave): bend your knees, dip under an imaginary hook, come up on the other side.
Slip the imaginary jab, then immediately counter with your cross. Slip outside, throw the 2.
Throw a combo, then immediately defend. 1-2, slip-slip. 1-2-3, roll under. Offense to defense flow.
Slip, roll, and counter in flowing combinations. Imagine an aggressive opponent - make them miss and make them pay.
Light movement and stretching. Focus on your neck, shoulders, and lower back.
